4 How to create Promotions on Boost Reservations ?

Promotion is a special offer which will be made available to your privileged guests And this promotion will be unlocked by a promotional code when entered on the Booking Engine.
To create a promotion, Click on the side menu and select “Promotions”

Then select the option “Internet Booking Engine” on the “View for” drop down list to start with.

Once you select this option, you will see a list of Promotion types which you can offer to your guests.

You can click on any of the desired promotion options to start off with
Then initiate the process by giving a “Promotion name”, “Short Code”, a description, Select the promotion type and the Promotion code with which you want your guests to unlock the promotion.
Once you select the Promotion Type, you have to select the Night rule. Here we have 4 options.

First is “After Every Night” Rule – Here you mention the number of nights after which you want to apply the discount. As an example, if you have selected the number of nights as 2, the discount will be applied every 2 nights
Second option is on “All nights” – Which will apply to each day of the stay.
And we also have options to apply said promotion only on the first night or only on the last night of the stay.

Then you can apply the value of discount based on the device a user is using. As an example you an give a 10% discount for Desktop or laptop users and give a 15% discount for Mobile users.

You can then select a “Booking date” range to push the availability of the promotion.

You can also set Booking Restrictions. We have 3 options to choose from.

First we have the option “Promotion for N times” – If you select this option you can enter the number of times this promotion can be used as a whole. Once you reach that number the promotion will automatically expire.

Then we have the “Stay Expiration” option – You can select a specific date for this promotion to Expire.

You then have the option to apply the created promotion for all your Rate plans or a selected few

Once you select the desired rate plans you want to enable the promotion on, you can select if any packages can be unlocked using the same promotion code.

Once you complete all of the above, you get the option either to make the promo code visible on your Booking Engine, or to use it on another source.
If you click on Show Promo option, you will requested to select if already created promotion should be visible on all dates or only on the dates the promotion will be valid. You can also add a description to the promotion.

Once you fill all given details. Click on create option to update made changes on your Internet Booking Engine.

5 How to create Packages in Boost Reservations?

Do you wish to offer different packages to your guests? Boost Reservations will help you create and manage different packages
Once you log into the system, click on the side menu and select “Packages” option.

Once you select the option you will see a list of quick create packages for your ease of use

You can select one of these to start creating a package.
First you have to fill in a package name, A short code, a description and select the type of special

You can then select the “Booking date” and the “Sell date” which means the dates the package will be available for Bookings and the days you are planning to make it available for your guests to make the reservation respectively.

You can then select the Rate plans on which this package will be applied.

Once you select the rate plans on which the package will be applied, select the business source as “WEB”.

You can also add additional restrictions such as hiding associated rate plans when this package is available.
If you want this package to be selected only by selected people you can select option mentioned below.

If you are using Yield Management, you can allow the yield to be applied on this package by selecting option shown in the image below.

You also the have the option to manage this package as a pre-paid, Non-refundable and Non-Cancel package by selecting the option shown in the image below.

Then you have the options to add in any additional Special conditions you have. You can give them each a title and a short description which will be shown in the Internet Booking Engine.
You can add any numbers of special conditions as you want.

Finally you have the option to add on some highlighted text to grab the client’s attention to the package

Once you are done adding details, Click on “Create” button to update made changes on the Internet Booking Engine.

6 How to show Booking List Option?

Do you want to see all your reservations on 1 page? Here’s the option, the Booking List. Once you log into the system, click on the side menu and select “Bookings” option.

In booking list a user can view the bookings they have received from the Internet Booking Engine and other resources.
The bookings can be filtered on the basis of

Guest name
Reservation number
Reservation Created day
Stay Date
Room
Rate Type
Source
Reservation Type

Once you filter your search you also have the option to download the set of reservation in excel format by clicking on the button shown in the image below.

A user can also perform certain operations on the searched bookings. You simply have to click on a reservation and options shown in image below will appear.

7 How to create Reports?

Reports play a vital role engaging the performance of your hotel.
Once you log into the system, click on the side menu and select “Reports” option.

The available reports in Boos Reservations are,

Arrival List – which shows you a list of all the arrivals you have along with the filter criteria shown in the image below

Cancelled Reservation report will display the details of all the reservations that has been cancelled with the search criteria and a Help guide to guide you to navigate this report

Country-wise reservation statistics report will provide details such as revenue, number of Reservations from a particular country, nights and average revenue per night.

Reservation Activity report gives you the necessary details related to the reservations you have received.
Void reservations report will show you a list of reservations you have voided.
Booking Source wise reservation statistics will give you a report of reservations you have received from different sources such as, Google, Facebook Etc.

Mobile/Desktop Wise reservation statistics will give you a detailed report of what devices your clients use to make reservations
Performance Analysis Report – It’s a graphical report which will show you the revenue generated from the Booking engine and all the different channels.
Revenue Analysis Report – This report will give you statistics of the Revenue generated through the Booking Engine and Different channels and OTAs.

NOTE

– Statistics from other channels will be available only if Channel Manager is integrated to the Internet Booking Engine.
