What information do we collect?

Information you give us. We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you register for our services, ask about our products, take part in an activity on our platform, or otherwise contact us.

Sensitive information. We do not collect or process sensitive personal information.

Social login data. If you choose to sign in using a social media account, we receive the profile details that provider makes available to us — see Social Logins below.

App and device data. When you use IntaPOSMobile or our other apps, we automatically collect information such as your device model and manufacturer, operating system and version, browser type, unique device identifiers, mobile network or carrier, and IP address. This is used to keep the app secure, troubleshoot issues, and understand how features are used. If we send push notifications, you can turn these off in your device settings at any time.

Any personal information you give us should be accurate and complete — please let us know if anything changes.

How do we process your information?

We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our services, to communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to meet our legal obligations. Where relevant, we may also process your information based on your consent. We only rely on a valid legal basis before processing any personal data, which typically includes:

• Creating and maintaining your account and keeping it in working order
• Responding to enquiries and providing customer support
• Operating, securing, and improving our services
• Sending service-related updates and, where appropriate, marketing communications

When and with whom do we share your personal information?

We may share information in specific situations, including:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

What is our stance on third-party websites?

Our services may link to third-party websites, apps, or advertisements that are not affiliated with us. We aren't responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of those third parties, and any data you share with them isn't covered by this notice. We'd encourage you to review their own privacy policies before providing any information.

Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We may use cookies and similar technologies, such as web beacons and pixels, to operate our services and understand how they're used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of our site work.

How do we handle your social logins?

If you register or sign in using a third-party social media account, we receive certain profile information from that provider — typically your name, email address, and public profile picture, along with anything else you've chosen to make public. We only use this information as described in this notice. Your social media provider's own privacy policy governs how they collect and handle your data, so we'd recommend reviewing it directly.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep personal information only for as long as it's needed for the purposes set out in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law — for example, tax or accounting rules. Once we no longer have a legitimate need to process your data, we delete or anonymise it, or, where immediate deletion isn't possible (such as data held in backup archives), we securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

How do we keep your information safe?

We use reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process. That said, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we can't promise that unauthorised parties will never defeat those safeguards. We'd recommend only accessing our services within a secure environment.

What are your privacy rights?

You can review, update, or close your account at any time. If you're located in the EEA or UK and believe we've processed your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — find contact details at the European Commission's directory. If you're in Switzerland, you can reach the FDPIC.

Withdrawing consent. Where we rely on your consent to process your data, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us — this won't affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before your withdrawal.

Opting out of marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by contacting us. We may still send essential, non-marketing messages related to your account or our services.

Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most browsers and some mobile platforms offer a Do-Not-Track (DNT) signal. Because there's no uniform industry standard for how to interpret DNT yet, we don't currently respond to these signals. If a common standard is adopted, we'll update this notice accordingly.

Do California residents have specific privacy rights?

Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code §1798.83), California residents can request — once a year, free of charge — details of any personal information we've shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make this request, please contact us using the details below.

If you're under 18, live in California, and have an account with us, you can ask us to remove content you've publicly posted. Contact us with the email tied to your account and confirm your California residency; we'll remove the content from public view, though it may not be fully erased from every backup system.

Do we make updates to this notice?

We may update this notice from time to time to stay current with applicable laws. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date, and if the changes are material, we'll let you know with a prominent notice or a direct message.
